I think men are SLIGHTLY more intelligent than women, besides all of their physically superior attributes! I think women's emotions put a limit on the intelligence that their brain can produce/support.

@Maloperverso my honors and Advanced placement classes have a higher percentage of females attending then males. if you look at it nationally (as in a big group of people) then mens IQ's are slightly higher then women's, but individually there are many incredibly intelligent women out there. maybe you just haven't met them yet.

i don't get why every time it comes down to differences between men and women, each side starts hissing and spitting and one another. Honestly, there are good and bad things about both genders, and the people who only think their gender is the best are a bit childish and not really doing anything to help their cause.

There are flaws in the studies : For example : When the AVERAGE woman weighed 8% less than models THOSE models were TALLER than AVERAGE women so the stats on the vid are off on this point. Women generally talk more but the topics are often less "important". ( Not always) Brevity is almost always used when formulating Earth shakingly wise quotes ( Which are largely from men )

Men think ( GENERALLY more "deeply" ) Women> More superficially. Men understand that sex is fun. > Women ??> texting.

Men GENERALLY think more logically....Women? More "emotionally". Men like to build things. Women? Like to buy things that men build. Men build their lives to get a wife. Women build their men to get a life. Men are labelors...Women are enablers. Men want to run their own lives...Women want to run other people's lives. Men eat as an alternative to sex...Women have sex as an alternative to eating.

Men say "fat" Women say "height and weight proportionate". Men pay bills, Women make bills.

Umm, that study about body image is very culture-bound. It's not a definitive answer for anything other than obvious cultural stereotypes.

Same goes for many of these studies, actually.

Depression is another culture-bound bias. Women are often treated as frail, prone to depression, and anti-depressants have a long history of repressing women.

Women also didn't really stay put. They would gather food (most of the food, actually) while men hunted. The roles weren't stratified though.

I'm not sure if either gender is necessarily more prone to depression, but in our society many more women are *treated* for depression.

It's consistent with other stereotypes too.

And on the hunting thing: Something that's really important is that hunters were not valued above gatherers. This is still true of the few forager cultures left.

Actually, women aren't better multi-taskers. Men can focus on more than one thing just as well as women can, therefore men can multi-taks just as well as women can. The whole multi-tasking stereotype was invented by some dumb housewife.

The assumption is, due to the wider corpus callosum in women, there's easier communication between the two cerebral hemispheres. It has some bearing in testing, too.

Obviously not all men are terrible multi-taskers, but any study done on the differences in brains has to show a statistically significant average. Within individuals, obviously there are exceptions. But to dismiss everything based on that is, well, stupid.
