I timed the completed round shown here as five minutes, and the interval preceding it seemed to take an inordinate length of time too. Everybody seems to be moving at about normal speed, so you have to wonder how tightly the Queensbury rules were followed for this fight.

There hands are low as that was the style, not to draw the other guy in, you have to remember gloved boxing was still very young here and still evolving from the bare knuckle days, where they held their hands very low as that was the style and it is still evident here.
