unlocking allows you to use the iphone with a different cellphone service. in this case its probably tmobile. jailbreaking allows you to get third party apps and about every app in the appstore free.

wifi is free, unless its a pay as u go wifi network, not sure about tmobile, im an aussie,

question -if i jailbreak and unlock my at&t iphone i understand the warranty is void. but is there a way to simply put it back to the factory settings if i need to take it to the apple store to be fixed in the future? does the jailbreak and unlock actually change something permanently and apple technicians will always be able to see this or can it be reversed? any help is appreciated. thanks
