All you have to do is hit it really hard with some 40 grit sandpaper attached to a drill then spray some WD40 on it and walk away. That's what I did to my ride. It doesn't look cloudy anymore
Ok, well, tell me if this works on older car, but after watching an infomercial for a chemmical cleaner that did this, it took me all of about ten minutes (and i'm fourteen) to figure out what was in it. I tried it on our car of 5 years and it worked perfectly. To do the same simply take white viniger, salt, and liquid dish soap (equal salt and soap and twice the amount of viniger) put this in a container and mix well, put this on a cloth and apply to lens, then rinse. use a buffer if needed
It can last 4 month or longer. Just after about that 4th month use so some headlight cleaner like you get from auto zone just wipe on & wipe off.You should not have to go through this step again
Thanks for your step-by-step instructions. I reviewed all of your videos for the process, and gave it a try on my '99 Dodge Caravan. They came out great ! You are absolutely right... you have to use a proper electric polisher for this. I used 600, 1000, and 2000-grit sandpaper, followed by the rubbing compound which was equivalent to about 3000-grit. I guess the true test is going to be how long my headlights will remain looking this clear, before they start yellowing again.
This video is top notch. No BS, you actually showed step by step how to do it yourself. This is the best video online by far. Great job, keep up the good work. Let me know if you have any other tricks for (going it yourself) Thanks
is all thank to you that I sand and buff 4 cars. Great job you did.

Go with the Turtle wax headlight restoration kit. It's the best value on the market.
