  • The whiz kid uses a calculator to do trig?

  • This is an excerpt from a longer video about computers in schools and how all kinds of computers, can work together.

And it explains the stupid getup too.

  • Thats 1 mac ...oh wait ....look closer ...is that?!? could it be?!? A dvd drive .....did someone just buy an apple sticker and put in on thier toshiba? Why would microsoft want to advertise and have an apple logo in thier ad's? Could it be that microsoft are still a major shareholder ....hmmmmm. Lol @ apple for being MS's bitch ....to this day.

  • I don't understand why few of Microsoft Ad has a Macintosh on it. Not just this one, also songsmith as well. What the hell?

  • Looking at their noses, I think there's a good chance those two are actually father and daughter.

  • 0:50 give me her number

  • 1:22 Those are two Macs

  • @davideneku

    didnt notice that xD

  • @davideneku Could they be Dells, possibly?

  • @davideneku And windows runs on macs... whats your point? Microsoft and Apple aren't competitors in computer hardware.

  • i think this product is good for "low needs" but for serious mathematics work, mathlab is more usefull but expensive...

  • This is a neat tool, but if students don't learn how to solve equations on paper instead of clicking the magic button, they've missed the point of going to school in the first place.

  • Surely giving gcse students an easy way to solve trig problems AND show them the equations theyre "using" defeats the object of learning, and many will cheat and not learn anything?

  • the sexy chubby is with the software?

  • Can i bring this in the maths exam?

  • @irmesia

i doubt it beacuse they will most likely not allow you to have your computer.

  • @Mastermind12358 FUCK THAT SHIT

  • If that was an apple product it would cost you 99,99 $

  • @RediForKing It comes for free with every Mac, it's called Grapher and is easier and better than this.

    Sorry, you FAIL.

  • @Radioboy

but is it as powerfull ?.

  • I like how all the students have Macs.

  • everything MS does has bugs and ruins your life. Stick to Apple

  • IS THAT COOL OR IS THAT COOL? :D

  • Many thanks!!!!!

  • I'm not going to lie, nice application, but wired commercial.

  • My calculator can do all that, but it cost $100.

  • it's not letting me download the calculator it shows up an error

  • "Whiz kid" lol

  • look at the people ... they dont even move lol!

  • Agreed.Microsoft's marketing sucks..cool application tough :D

  • Comment removed

  • How awkward is this.

  • hey teacher, can I hook your daughter up?

  • cool program, cool idea, bad video :/ Sorry microsoft. work on the marketing.

  • Lol... just use wolfram mathematica......

  • this is a pretty cool app, and usefull... and free! thank's very much. :)

  • This is excellent to prevent the younger ones from evolving. Bet we are talking government funding here.

  • The Mac is running windows

  • OMG FLOWER CALCULATOR

  • I hope this is native in Windows 8.

  • @GamerLiberis you are able to use this in Win 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and yes even 8. Most programs you would have to open it in Compatibility for Win XP with SP3. This is one of those. Open it up that way, and u could use it and all other Windows products in Win 8.

  • And lets not forget about the available add-on which allows you to use this directly from within Word or OneNote. IMO a must have!

  • So as they're doing there..I don't know...maths stuff...LMAO!

  • the interface looks a lot like WolframAlpha.

  • Ohhh. Well perhaps the idea behind the Macbooks in the presentation is to show that Mac users aren't getting these amazing features found in Windows PCs. The Mac users are now in envy. I don't know. Its just a theory.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, MacBook Pros are Intel-based, and therefore can run Windows... The BootCamp multiboot utility assists in installing Windows on the Mac... but quite honestly, almost everyone that goes to a Mac is running away from Windows...

  • of course he had to use a thinkpad, its the only thing that thinks at math

  • Comment removed

  • microsoft stop trying being cool

  • So Microsoft still hasn't stopped its cheesy adverts, eh?

  • uhhhh... macbook pros on a MICROSOFT advert?

  • Is there a 32 bit version?

  • Daughter is mackin'.

  • Umm.... Wolfram Alpha?? That's all nice but you'll get owned in the exams when you can't use Microsoft Mathematics.

  • Ouch, painful.

  • fail Macbooks on a Microsoft video lol

  • no Arabic version ??

    :((((((

  • Reminds me somewhat of the corner gas tv series guy .. idk ..

  • i liked it before the thick boned girl walked on

    yuck

  • wolfram alpha does all of that and more, no?

  • @iwantcoolname And is free as well? Or?

  • @Coi1221 not exactly, you need to pay ISP bill. it's a site :)

  • There's a mac there because they don't hate on apple like apple hates on them.

  • @Gabetheoptimist Very true, in fact they posted a short article on their website about an esteemed employee and mentioned the fact that she is a huge fan of her iPad. It even included a picture of it.

  • @Gabetheoptimist Macs can run Windows in a dual-boot setup, and there is Office for Mac. (not a Mac user, liker, or hater)

  • @Gabetheoptimist normaly that microsoft uses a MAC, because is BETTER!

  • @The40nontyy3 I see you trollin...I'm almost hating.

  • @The40nontyy3 Your are really stupid , aren't you ?

  • 1:23 Do I see a MAC?

  • It's free now?

  • why did watch this?

  • yessss

  • you are kinda late we already have Mathematica 8

  • winning!!!

  • I've never been good with math, nor has it appealed to me.

    But I'm impressed :)

  • OOOO 3D.... this is probably why its worth buying. and my calculator has a triangle solver...

  • @blade3412 It's free dumbass. Djeez, most YouTube commenters are so retarded ._.

  • @Coi1221 LOL my bad, I guess I'm still under the impression that Microsoft is just trying to take my money...

  • @blade3412 Ok np I guess..

  • Where was this a year ago when I was doing trig?

  • 1:28 that totally looks like a dick xD

  • what a shitty interface.

  • that chick is smoking

  • and all of the computers the students have are mac books?

  • well, the main question is ... will it blend ?

bad ms commercials again, no surprise right ?

  • oh gid microsoft dosent help the mac vs pc image

  • meanwhile, MacOS has had this built in since 1994....

    via wikipedia: NuCalc:

The Graphing Calculator 1.0 software has been bundled for free on all Power Macintosh computers since its introduction in 1994. This means that it was shipped on more than 20 million machines, and is the most familiar version of the program.

  • @thatritguy stfu...but i completely agree. Just not the right place to comment (lots of haters here)

  • Another way to make humanity stupid...

  • @biggerben2010 a free one?

  • 48 ÷ 2 (9 + 3) = ?

  • Awesome Tool. Terrible Video.

  • Thank you M$

  • MacBook Pros at Microsoft's Math 4.0 presentation. WTF?

  • @GCshredder They have Windows 8 on them installed, for sure.

  • @GCshredder It's closed because of the resignation of the user!

  • @GCshredder Noticed she closed it

  • @GCshredder Bootcamp

  • @GCshredder these MBP running Win7 :)

  • @GCshredder doesn't windows run on mac? lol

  • @GCshredder Mac books use bootcamp which lets them install windows too if they have a windows disc, the hard drive is split between the windows copy and mac osx half. Some colleges might just buy macs in bulk at a discount, and then install windows on the ones that need them,

  • @atomic1fire since when do they buy macs? I've only seen linux/windows in my region.

  • @GCshredder It does make sense since Microsoft owns most of Apple's shares...

  • @GCshredder LOL :D

  • @GCshredder

Microsoft is a software company (in terms of Operating Systems). Windows runs on a variety of devices including MacBooks.

  • Why do all the students have MacBooks?

  • @MadSupra354

    Rebellion.

  • @MadSupra354 That's the joke.

  • @QwertySkill sooo true :D

  • @QwertySkill Math exam: failure.

  • @xboxnissan yeah ik :p, I never was one of those kids who looked at the back of the book for the answer

  • @QwertySkill That is the point I make... We build stuff to make stuff easier. Homework solved of course, but do you have MS Mathematics 4.0 at your exam? No... that's the point..

  • @xboxnissan i didn't even have a simple Calculator in my various 100 and 200 courses during exams.

  • @Lunchsacks it makes even less possible to pass your math class then :/

  • @xboxnissan lol

  • awesome stuff
