  • so lovely

  • What happened to the first two pekin ducks you had?

  • @Tydus654 ... So very sad. This march they were both taken by a pack of coyote right out of our yard in the daylight. We did not see it happen, but GrPaDuck found the remains down by the creek. OUR HEARTS BROKE!! It was absolutely terrible. The only concolation was that both were taken, so one was not left to greive. That is why you see the very large duck aviary we now have.

  • @plutomarvin that's so sad I'm sorry for your losses. I was always worried about my duck since we have foxes and coyotes theres also pretty big hawk and they all live in this small forest behind our yard. I don't have my duck anymore but I have a 6lb Pomeranian that I always need to keep a close eye on.

  • Nov 13 our duckies were about one month old. We were tranistioning them to outside living. I will always freely tell anyone that ducks are A LOT of work. They take a huge commitment of time, space, and money. But as I do here, I will follow up quickly with the fact that they are such loves and have such great and varied personalities. We love love love our six pet duckies!!!!
