  • Wait, so he's not only playing it upside down without re-stringing it, he's also not even using a pick?!

  • @DudleyScardsdale The other Albert (Collins), who I think was the best who ever lived, didn't use a pick either. Have no idea how anyone could do what he (and King) did without a pick, Jesus!

  • at the 6:09 mark, albert yells at band for not coming down low enough!!!!!! i love it!!!!!

  • i wouldn't mind having this song on repeat for the rest of my days, epic playing!!!!

  • AWESOME.

  • Son of a bitch played upside down guitar... what a king!

  • cool

  • 03:33 - Probably the coolest moment in modern blues history.

  • I saw him live a few years before he died, his back up band was so so, he was screaming at the bass player 1/2 the night

  • RIP ALBERT KING !!! GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL EVER !!!

  • 1:03 .. i agree albert

  • I know the hippies gave Albert King a lot of props but I just can't help but think that one of thoes hippies were thinking how does this 40 something year old black man play such cut throat blues but at the same time have such a young sound that I can't help but love. Some of these hippies didn't know what hit them, they thought only Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton could have that effect.

  • I love how he rolls off the volume with the knob on the guitar. So old school.

  • Albert has some of the best bends of all time! He gets so much emotion out of bending one note!!!

  • The man poured out his soul through a guitar to most others it would be work.

  • @pooiseng Boy, you said it! I'm from Egypt, and I was turned on to the Blues when I heard Stevie Ray Vaughan playing Texas Flood for the first time on the "100 greatest guitar solos of all time" collection! I went home, Picked up my guitar, and spent the next 12 months trying to do the texas shuffle, and have been hooked ever since!
