I've gone through about 2 full boxes of these coals and are by far my favorite coconut coals out. I was a coconara user but personally, I think the Razan Coals last a lot longer for me. With 2 coals on a tangiers phunnel bowl my session lasts me at least an hour. Once I add my windcover I get an extra 30 minutes. As far as adding the coal taste, I haven't gotten that either and I'm smoking Tangiers Noir so additional flavors could be tasted. Nonetheless, love your channel.
@kevjingle That's odd, I haven't had that happen to me yet. Unless of course I restrict the airflow within my bowl a little too much in which case the bottom of the coals will turn black due to the lack of air hitting the coal.
Great review Jake. I use Cocobricos and they are double the size of coconara and are cubed shaped. It takes a little getting used to but the cube shape but it is not really a problem. For me Cocobricos are the best coal on the market because they last over an hour plus and are dirt cheap. Unfortunately they aren't available in the US.
@cremedelacreme89 Personally, the cube shape make the coal much to tall which wastes a lot of the heat potential. Using three cube shaped coconara's vs three square shaped coals, will distribute heat much differently. This of course depends on the bowls you use, for example, if you only use Egyptian bowls, it doesn't really make too much of a difference.
May sound dumb but i cannot find the mini stove u used to light up the coals anywhere! help please

@falc1094 Check Amazon or Overstock. They're almost impossible now to find locally these days.

@anis14 I've heard great things about the Cocobricos and would love to try them out one of these days.

Why would you say the cubes are a fail? For what reasons
