@RyanShelton63366 The motor originally cost about $8000 with all the machine work and assembly. I bought the car with the motor in it, it was a friends build who passed away, and I wound up spending another $2500 on the new setup which has yet to be started. Hoopefully within the next two weeks its up and running so I can get it plated and start driving it to see how long that T5 holds up!
Sweet man.. Thanks!! I ended up purchasing a 302 the other day.. it'll be my first build/motor swap so I figured id stick to the same motor.. This one is just out of a 92 so its already good for MAF and a build and stuff... If this one ever goes, I'll move to a 351 >:D
@FortisBong I'm with both you and 86T66T123, I prefer the stock 84-86 tails but the car had these on. Just haven't been able to find a clean set that I like to put back on! This car used to have an Aero front end, the lights are next to revert!!
Nice car ! Really like those wheels and the way the car sits on them. Are those 2010 Mustang wheels ? Wouldnt mind getting a set for my 86. Nice smoke show !
@mrhenriquesp1 Thanks, but those are actually American Racing Torq Thrust II's 17x9.5" all around. Much deeper dish than any of the factory 'Bullit' style wheels.
@ShahyadG ............freakn' love that burn out.....SWEET ride dude. I'm restoring my '89 5.0 and would love to have it as clean as that. Shout out from miami, fl.
Are there any hood clearance issues with that 351? What kind of intake is on it? Is there a plenum? Thanks!

Those 351s are the best sounding engines imo.

Nice...I have an '86 too...I'm wondering if the new Coyote motor would fit in the bay...that would be sweet

@GrumpyBlack Of course it would! It's basically a DOHC 4.6, I may wind up goin that route if I ever pull my 351!

@GrumpyBlack Ive seen several magazines do the swap, but it will probably be awhile before the average joe can throw one in. They cost 7k on Ford.

@GrumpyBlack coyote motor swaps are basically direct bolt in with new mounts and whatnot
