hmmm....lol. People who believe the dep are not too bright. There are mountain lions in Ct. people and there have been for some time. The DEP wants to protect these animals, and by saying they are not there is the best way to do this. Also, if people think there are big cats roaming their neighborhoods, everyone buys guns and that is a problem.
Replace "mountain lion" with "Black man" when you watch this, and you have a perfect 'The Onion' news story.
