I really want this box set for Christmas! I'm getting this and The Pink Floyd Discovery Box Set. And for some weird reason I'm more exited to get the Immersion box set, than all of their Cds in one box set. Its just cause this set looks so amazing. And when I buy stuff like this, I don't only go for the music, I like all the extra things it comes with. I doubt I'd ever use the scarf, but I will keep it as a collectable. And the marbles look so bad ass. The book with the Prism on it looks sweet.

Well I bought it, & found nothing wrong with it. You dont HAVE to buy anything if you dont want to, I would shop around to (uk buyers) I have found a £40 difference for the box set on certain sites!! So its not just EMI trying to rip people off! FloydForever !

Immersion box-set?

Its nothing more then a EMI cash-in!

its overpriced and has many faults,

My discs came loose in transport and were scratched the round disc holders were also broken.

The blu-ray is a big disappointment considering what they could of done with it.

Full of tat Marbles? Scarf? envelopes?

Mines been returned and ive asked for my money back.

My advice is to buy the experience edition and just have the remasterd album and live wembley 74 the rest is not worth the £90!!

When will be able to see the actual "physical" packaging of these sets? Will the CDs in these sets (or even just the plain Discovery editions) be packaged nicely? People use the term "digipak" loosely these days. I hope they're not packaged like the awful "Gdansk" sets were (referring to the 5-disc set "sleeves"), or the "no tray" Introduction to Syd Barrett album.

I really hope they release a standalone of the Blu-ray. I have the excellent SACD already, but would gladly upgrade to the Blu-ray to have a properly-mastered Quad mix and the 5.1 on the same disc. The DVD-A rip of the quad leaves something to be desired in the fidelity department.

And Why on earth a 25 min doc? it could have been better to include "Classic Albums: Dark Side of The Moon" in full.

Anyway, still WAY BETTER than Wall Immersion box, which lacks 5.1 mix, Wall Live DVD, the original Wall album (with te 20+ min of music cut at the last minute), Wall lost Documentary, and duplicate ITAOT live albume.

I'm 18 years old and I love Pink Floyd. I went to go see Roger Waters The Wall live back in May and that was awesome. So hope David Gilmour does a tour because Ive never seen him live because I was only two when he done his last Pink Floyd album and only 14 when he did Remember that night (Great album). You can find an entire "The Wall Live" convert on YouTube. I've heard news from AFG that Roger is trying to collect footage to create a remastered (both visually and audio...ily). If I can have any of these and The Wall box set includes a video of that concert I would buy The Wall box set. But this looks like it is worth the moon. It has marbles.

@Jabasourus The Wall Live DVD was compiled quite a long time ago (by 2003, both audio and video and the full show was recreated). It's known that both 1980 & 81 Earls Court nights were filmed (the later in better quality). There're several parts of Wall Live performances on the documentary "Behind The Wall". Also, several gigs were taped @ multitracks. There's a petition to mix The Wall album in 5.1 restoring all the 20+ min of music cut.

In response to the negative comments, I can only speak for myself and say with my hand on my heart I don't care what it costs, I'm getting it. This music has been such a lifeline to me, from the age of 13, and I've always wanted to hear more in terms of unreleased material than what was available. Especially live stuff with the classic line-up. So the initial news of these releases had me in a brief state of euphoria, to say the least.

DSOTM is a classic because of the 9 great songs on it.

Mine has been pre-ordered for some time too. Considering most CD's in Canada are about 15.00 to 20.00 and blu rays 20.00-50.00 I thought 100.00 for this emersion set from Amazon.ca was quite reasonable. So reasonable that I pre-ordered all three emersion sets. The vintage video footage alone is worth the money. To see what I mean go grab the "Live in Pompeii" DVD. It's a classic all on it's own.
