....not many werewolf movies out there, I didn't like dog soldiers, it was slow and drawn out, I fell asleep on it, lmao but I definitely agree with you, aawil is worth buying, I can never get bored of watching it, red riding hood is a movie I have yet to see, hopefully it doesn't disappoint me! lol

The one where the werewolf uses a baseball bat instead of its teeth or claws? Really???? I'm a big Stephen King fan, and I'll admit that the dream scene was kind of cool, but even though the movie starts out promising, by the end it's just painful...
The transformation scene and indeed the werewolf in the Howling were lame and looked cheap. nothing has come close to beating American Werewolf in London.. is a whole different animal..HOOOOOOOWLL

This is my second favorite werewolf movie, after "Dog Soldiers". The only problem I found was that it was such a freakin' riot, it was impossible to be scared. But that's just me.
the werewolf in this movie is the best i have ever seen.
it actually looks like a humanoid kind of wolf, realistic (as realistic as werewolves can get) and the way the face looks and the eyes make it look evil, not just savage.
also the howl is more bone chilling then a normal wolf which is cool. the only thing i didnt like was the size as you can see when its in london near the end but i gess it wouldnt be realistic if it was giant.

This film is awesome. I actualy remember seeing a talk show on YT that someone taped back in the 80's in which helped advertise AAWIL and John Carpenter's The Thing togeather. Classic 80's scifi/horror. I remember seeing this first on the sci-fi channel. And yes, this film is better than "The Howling". 5/5
Seeing a girl who loves werewolves gives me such hopes for humanity. I gotta say, AMWIL really is better than The Howling. I totally agree, The Howling was great, it's just no quite as good as AMWIL. But, I'm an uber old school guy, and for me, The Wolf Man tops them all.
