I know the course taught you to respect the right-of-way to pedestrians. If not, your drivers license test booklet should have instructed you to. You crossed the double yellow line making a left turn. Then you ran through a yellow light instead of preparing to stop. What safety course did you take again? You should not be the spoke person for them. You may have taken a course but it wasn't in safety!
@truplaya091 WOW thats nice, im getting ready to take that course down here in Texas and its about $195. Not state funded, no money back. Still worth the investment in your life though.
i hope the course didn't tell you to enter a crosswalk while people are still crossing. you came a few feet from hitting that guy while he was walking with a lady and a baby. take your time captain.
Glad you enjoyed the BRC class of the MSF. You really do learn life saving skills and strategies for on the street. They say that 1 weekend is equivalent to 2 years of riding experience. Be sure to go back and take the ERC. I think you would really enjoy it and you learn even more but on your bike.
I'm going to be doing the MSF course. I rode a motorcycle when I was a teenager in trails and such, but I know it's a totally different beast on the road, and I'll be glad to spend the money.
I paid $350!!! I really do hope its worth every dollar as my pocket has just gotten slimmer and will be more so after I buy a motorcycle and all the gear/
Luckily here in PA the state offers it's own sponsored MSF course that you don't have to pay for. They even provide the bikes and helmets. The only things you need are gloves, long sleeves, proper shoes, proper pants, and a motorcycle learners permit. It's completely free for PA residents with a valid drivers license.
