  • I say, the best characteristic of your vids, at least the few I've viewed thus far, is the chatter you and others who happen to sidle up provide...& in English! Other naive souls may object, but I savour such banter. I encourage every bloke & blokette to subscribe to your channel...as I just did, what?

  • @zuzulo56 Thanks! I try to include conversation if its relevent to what is happening on screen!

  • What a lot of excitement Mike, and as the true professional, you were in the middle of it recording it all for posterity....Great footage indeed...Bob

  • Great footage mike.

  • well mike what can we say .it was only an oil preasure switch on the thousand .that caused the problem .but it did bring in the spectators .myself i just casualy made my way to the nearest bar .and consumed lots of cider .

  • @warminstercentral I do hope that means the loco will be back in service soon. We do not see her running on the line often enough!

  • Well what a palaver!! Nice one Mike. If you don't mind me asking, how long did that take all the shunting back and forth?..Interesting viewpoints of the tops of the diesels too from the footbridge......Tim.

  • @siobhan104 What i videod at Williton took about half an hour in real time. Trains were delayed by about 50 minutes by the incident. Sadly some paseengers were not happy. I know at Watchet there was a lot of criticisim to the volunteer staff about how they were not kept informed about what was causing the delay. If only the WSR would give us broadband at all stations and signal boxes,as so often has been requested, everyone could be instantly made aware of the situation.

  • Maybe they could give the 33 one of the Thunderbird names off the Virgin 57/3s.

  • @AndreiTupolev Someone has since told me the 33 is leaving the WSR soon. it will be sad to see her go.

  • The new footbridge coming in useful there.

  • Typical diesel hydraulic LOL!

  • Great one! =)

  • @trainfart Such is the benefit of having a camcorder ready!

  • that's what you call being in the right place at the right time, great video.
