lol there are disappearing bodies all over this game and by the time i got to this part i was like "hmm, dead bodies, that's nice" and kept going and never noticed they disappeared if you turn around. gotta go check this out for myself now.

@TotallyArrJay Yes, Daniel killed him. If Daniel's sanity level gets dangerously low things like this can happen. I'm not sure if this is scripted to always happen or if you need to have low sanity first... Other strange things will happen if you lose your sanity :).

You see, those things only come out when you're at "..." or slightly more normal,"Head is pounding and hands are shaking." When the bodies came out the first time, it's cuz you lost sanity in the low light without the lantern out. So, as soon as that space wasn't on your screen, the game corrected it to match your sanity. Opposite thing when you walked by the candles. Since more light was present, you progressed to "a slight headache." etc.

It's like: In Amnesia, there a many "random" events happening, so the player's experiences are different. There are many thing that won't happen to you the first time you play it, or even things that might never really happen to you while playing it.

For example, I once went trough a corridor, heard that weird-Monster-Scream, ran back to some drawings on the walls just to see if they changed. They didn't. When I came back to the corridor, pigs were hanging from the ceiling..

There aren't many dangers in computers games that are an actual threat to you IRL, so technically there is no good reason to be scared. What do you expect from horror games? Do you expect real monsters to sneak up on you from behind and rip you from your computer chair?
