These Sontarans look more menacing than the current version. I like the makeup more than the uniforms. They are missing the hole on the back of the neck and are the same height as humans.

@midianallmighty The Probic Vent on the back of the Sontarans neck is shorn in Episode one, they charged up prior to boarding the ship.

But i have to agree about the costumes, the masks are terrific but the brown fabric looks wrong.

@midianallmighty It been said that Sontaran society has a rigid clan structure. ANd that each clan has distinct genetic traits.

It wouldnt be a stretch that there was a clan that was physically shorter as their genetic marker.

i'll take good story over cgi special effects anyday!...notice sontaran commander's helmet is gold while his soldiers wear bronze...a rutan is on the lose! cool!...this is looking good!

those sontarans look brilliant! a lot more scary than the new series ones...

pretty darn well done on a little amateur budget... hats off!

this could well have been what Doctor Who would've looked like in the early 90's if the show hadn't been axed.
