  • Perhaps we should order our kids to do drugs and if they don't, they get an ass beating! It would make "Just say NO" go a long way. Really, Rebellion is the trademark of teenagers and if ordered to do drugs...

  • forgot to say, the documentary is called "american: the bill hicks story"

  • Bill is the man. This routine is brilliant. I must have watched it 5 times now...

  • Thanks Bill Hicks, you cut through the Bullshit! RIP @ :)

  • Bart simpson used the confusious one hand clapping joke

  • anybody know how he does the cricket sound? (do i get a prize for least controversial question?)

  • Could you add the performance date to the description, please?

    I guess it's possibly in 92 or 93...

  • @Progman3K yeah dude il investigate and update :)

  • @Progman3K He already has cancer here, so this is 1993.

  • @Progman3K - i think it was 2003 as in part 1 he mentions his new show starting next year in 2004 which is why he was retiring from standup.

  • Could you add the perfomance date to the description, please?

I would estimate that this takes place sometime in 92 or 93?

  • Not to mention the hypocracy of the out of control pharmeceutical industry who's deviant drugs are pushed twice as much as alcohol on tv. Alcohol kills more people than herion, cocaine, and meth combined. LOOK IT UP! These are infamous statistics.

  • You're both wrong. He's pointing out the the hypocracy of having alcohol shoved down our throats while peaceful people are thrown in jail for using other substances, especially pot. And A LOT of people want all drugs completely legalized so our criminal cocksucking government won't have the monopoly over it's self created tyrannical black market. See "US Troops protect poppy fields in Afghanastan" And because drug abuse is a medical issue not a criminal one.

  • @XxVailetxX yessir. sad, but also very fucking true.

  • Whos the Bill Hicks of today then? I can't think of one truely edgy comedian or am i wrong? Has the world really been that sanitised!? Man i wish i could be as funny as this guy. I have the balls just not the skills unfortunately. I guess thats what makes Bill a comedy genius. One of a kind. If we all could do it it wouldn't be so special.

  • @annuity100 uhh...Doug Stanhope's really funny, insightful, and performs his bits while drinking...Joe Rogan is pretty funny too. He also has some pretty good theories of the universe...I don't know, those are just some of the dudes I listen too, that you may enjoy. But all in all, I don't think anyone can live up to the greats ( Carlin, Pryor, Kinison, Bruce, and, of course, Hicks). Although Ron White and Dave Chappelle aren't that bad, either...

  • can someone make that cartoon of him yelling "it's women!" please?

  • lol howd he make the cricket noise so good wow

  • I love the Confucius bit XD

  • Cops say Legalize ALL drugs.

    Leap(dot)cc

  • The 'Forgot to open the garage door, dude'-part had me laughing so much, I had to pause and laugh my heart out without missing what he's saying. I think he was more of a preacher (or for a lack of better words - a guy with a lot of ideas how to fix this world) than a comedian*, but hell - he was funny. Funnier than some!

*In a sense that so many think that a comedian is supposed to make you laugh, and laugh only. I myself think that comedians can deliver needed ideas and make you laugh whilst.

  • @EnvenomAscension yeah i dont think anyone sane would want heroin, cocaine, meth, etc legalised.

  • @Hendrix0strat Any responsible person can use any drug responsibly, it is merely the person and the circumstance that induces drug abuse.

  • @Hendrix0strat all or nothing , i mean its subjectiv which drug you prefer and if you know the risks , you should do what you want , if they would legalize heroin next day i dont think that there would be more consumers ,

  • @Hendrix0strat Who has the right to tell anyone what to put in their bodies? If it were all legalised then the users would know what they were getting and they wouldn't feel the need to hide it from their doctors, family etc. Add to that you cure a large proportion of crime in one fowl swoop. People use it if it's legal or not, so why not just educate rather than ostracise? I've never heard a good argument for keeping it illegal as it all depends on treating people like children.

  • @EnvenomAscension because he himself went through hell because of alcohol. he used other drugs but it was the alcohol that was the real problem

alcohol is a drug and in actuality more people die from alcohol than all those drugs combined

  • @MorbidMayhem I must've been drunk when I wrote that, I don't remember writing it. But anyway, I think what I meant is meth and heroin are more addictive than alcohol and more expensive of a habit. I don't think they should be illegal because people are going to do them either way. If they were legal I really would have no desire to try it. I would maybe smoke pot more often if it were legal. But that's about it.

  • @EnvenomAscension wthe way it should be is all or nothing, all drugs legal or none. its up to the people to choose if they want to do the addictive shit that screws up their body and brain.

  • @EnvenomAscension i don't think bill advocates heroin, coke, or meth. i think he advocates mushrooms and pot, but also, he is on point about the problem. alcohol is a fucking healthcare epidemic compared to heroin and coke. and furthermore, most of the problems caused by heroin and coke users stem from its illegality. look up portugal's solution and how their aids, homelessness, crime, and overdoses have all dropped in the years since legalization of all drugs.

  • @EnvenomAscension You've been misinformed. Alcohol and pharmacuticals kill more people than heroin, meth and cocaine combined. Please do the research because those statistics are infamous and widely acredited. But the government has the monopoly on ALL those drugs, legal or not. They control the black market and keep drug dealers (including the ones in the white house) in business by keeping it illegal.

  • @EnvenomAscension

Listen to Hicks!~ alcohol kills more than drugs do FULL STOP

  • @EnvenomAscension fuck that. you obviously haven't dealt with it. marijuana, that's one thing

but i've had experience with alcohol second hand, and it can make you just as insane as those other drugs.

fucks sake, hicks fans should understand better than most. we almost lost him entirely to alcohol

not to mention alcohol is legal, and the government allows people to kill themselves and in some cases drive themselves over the brink of insanity and into a place you can't come back.

    just be safe

  • @EnvenomAscension ..Bill Isn't Anti Alcohol, he's Anti .. double standards!!!

  • @EnvenomAscension Actually alcohol causes more problems to society than all the junkies and cokeheads combined.

  • @EnvenomAscension

He never spoked that every drug except alcohol should be legal.

  • @EnvenomAscension that is simply untrue. Alcohol kills about 80,000 Americans per year directly or indirectly, prescription drugs kill at least 30,000, while heroin kills about 2,000, cocaine another 2,500, meth kills maybe 500. Cigarettes kill 440,000. Marijuana? 0. Also, alcohol (in excess) makes people depressed, lethargic, and stupid conformists who suck society's cock.

  • @MarkM2288 i was gunna comment on his post saying something similar, but realized you pretty much covered it. drugs AND alcohol, that's my favorite saying because alcohol is a fucking drug too!

  • @EnvenomAscension

Alcohol causes more problems as it's more readily available...

  • @NaJa0283 Yes but you can DRINK your drug and the govornment don't care. It's the drugs you don't pay TAXES ON...! Don't you know that morality is based upon what the govonment can make money on? You can pop perscription drugs at the drop of a hat and who cares if you O.D. as long as the govornment gets its money BUT if you buy a tax-free joint? "LOCK EM UP!" And who pays to put more people in prison than any nation on earth? WE do!

  • 1:10 aNGELINA SHOUKDN'T LISTEN TO THIS-YET.

  • No one has died from pot...let me put that in a time frame: Ever. That delivery was gold!

  • i was thinking about that nursery rhyme yesterday

    life is but a dream.

  • I wish we could bring him back for a special on all the bullshit in the last 10 years. But maybe he told us all we needed to know before he departed this world.

  • he was telling us to evolve and "grow up" and not to take any bullshit - so in honour of him we ought to do that...thanx for shows, Bill....

  • @killtroy811 You should check out a new documentary made about him. It's high budget, very high quality production! Not the same as the man himself but his popularity is actually growing with time. Can't ask for much more.

  • Your all fired.

  • Thanks for the upload bro.

  • he dosent do comedy for retards, try dane cook

  • sorry if i've kinda grown past that stage where the unusual is amusing, but this really isn't. you can't just put it off that i'm retarded and i love dane cook. I mean, coincidentally, i can't apply either of those, and now i'm just sad, when i wanted something funny to watch. If i have somebody who is just completely wrong and needs someone to set them straight, i would recommend this guy but for me, i like my comedians telling funny, sometimes insightful or not, doesn't matter, jokes.

  • tbh he died shortly after this so..maybe he wasent feeling 100% and if your kinda dieing its hard to do your job...but thats just me

  • I don't even know why I am willing to waste any time on you what so ever, but BronzeLining it's not that his unusual it's that he IS insightful, honest about his beliefs and is funny too!

He is a great comedian and an ambassador for people alike, respected greatly amongst us.

    go fcuk yourself =]

  • ok.

  • @greenday21 that's what worked for you?

  • check out... the american drug war the last white hope... its a documentary done by bill hicks life long friend.... AMAZINGLY informative.

  • The movie reefer maddness and the fake war on drugs have totally misled this country...again.

  • i will be your child-man hahaha

  • the pot is just a front.

your friend and his wife had serious problems that needed to be dealt with and werent, and somehow, the pot became the issue. maybe your friends wife claimed that was the problem. maybe your friend did. maybe the problems lead to him trying to abuse a substance. i have seen this many times, not just pot, but anything, including drinking, and most commonly money problems. they had deeper issues, and pot on itself is very harmless. like crack addicts, its not the crack.

  • Comment removed

  • he was an idiot.

It could've been anything.. he could've loved shit. and just ate shit and rolled in it all day.

  • and my parents marriage was destroyed by alcohol.

Any abuse and obsession with a chemical substance is going to cause issues with personal relationships. Isn't that you're responsibility?

  • If the marriage was destroyed over pot, it could have been destroyed over shoe tying or water paintings. Or anything else for that matter.

    Think about it.

Husband: "Honey, I need to tie my shoes again"

Wife: "Again. You're always tying your shoes. You suck."

H: "Screw you, I'm tying my shoes."

W: "Screw me? Screw you! I want a divorce"

    H: "You got one, bich."

    DONE.

  • epic!
