The scene when Cher goes into Rocky's room and discovers he's dead. That is the tear jerker. I had tears in my eyes from there to the last scene. This movie was great. And Rocky Dennis was great. I'm glad he was happy until the end and could finally take his trip to Europe(as his Mother put it.) I had no idea this was based on a true story. That makes it even better. :) Rest In Peace Rocky.

I knew Rocky when he was about 8 years old or so. He lived across the street from a park in Azusa that we played in. He was a really nixe kid, but most of the other kids always picked on him and made fun of him, buyt he never bucled under and always gad a smile on his face. That's what I will always remember...

Actually, I was traumatized from seeing a preview for "Mask" on TV when I was little (i.e. a commercial for the movie being shown on TV). It really scared the hell out of me (but now at 33, the movie doesn't scare me anymore). But I did read an article that said that they didn't show the makeup in the theatrical trailer because it was too shocking and because they didn't want the movie to look like an exploitation movie. Also, I think they also wanted to make potential ticket buyers curious.
