@TMami610 Sable is a 1x women's champs. Lita is a 4x womens champ and the rest of these girls all have way more title reigns than Sable so what do you mean they didnt get pushed??? lol. Sable atleast brought EXCITMENT to the womens division. Even Beth and Nattie who are waaaay more skilled failed to do that. Give credit to where credit is due.

@jungle10ful You're talking about a day and age when all you had to do as a woman to excite a crowd was take your clothes off. The WWE divas of this generation have a much steeper hill to climb since a) they're on PG show b) they have to rely solely on mat and mic skills c) they're coming fresh into a division that is still heavily stereotyped because of the past generation's overuse of pillow fight matches. Giving Sable any credit as a legit wrestler is far too much slack, even for her.

@KissTheManiac Sable was revolutionnary. Im not saying that she was a good wrestler but she had a great gimmick. A blonde with a perfect mixture of a strong looking body with curves in all the right places doing powerbombs and tkos is amazing. Bottomline, she was UNIQUE. She was getting MUCH bigger pop than Terri, Debra, The Kat, etc. None of the girls today are unique or have a gimmick. Wrestling skills are secondary but a character and a gimmick is IMPORTANT to be over.

@jungle10ful Sable was nothing more than a poster child for a ratings war that used sex appeal and shock value as leverage. She sucked on the mic, she couldn't sell a move to save her life, she couldn't even correctly take a basic bump. You could have put any big breasted bimbo in her place and they could have easily achieved this 'iconic' status you believe her to be at. If anything, Sable is part of the problem as to why women's wrestling in the US is looked so down upon.

@jungle10ful Oh yeah she was certainly blowing the roof off with this match. The only way she was able to get a reaction out of the crowd was by taking off her clothes. And with a target audience of 15 - 20 year old males, which I'm sure the writers had to stretch their creative muscles to make that work. You want to see a crowd getting behind two women wrestlers, watch Chyna vs Ivory at Wrestlemania X-Seven. The crowd popped ten times louder and both of their clothes stayed on.

Ive seen quality matches between Ivory and Jackie on HEAT but the crowd couldnt careless. Sable and Chyna were both HUGE MASSIVE names worldwide. Sable for obvious reasons and Chyna because she was a freak of nature. The PHYSICAL appeal is HUGE in wwe if you want to become popular. Both Sable and Chyna had a unique and phenomenal body to be recongnize in this industry.

Sable is nothing more than an over glorified stripper whose only contribution to the industry was wearing a pair of hand-shaped pasties. As an entertainer she could never get a reaction out of a crowd with her clothes on and as a wrestler she couldn't even perform the most basic moves properly. Insisting she deserves a place in history is an insult to the sport.

@Stratusfaction4ever well, wrestling is fake in that many of the moves are well rehearsed so people dont get really hurt. the bumps are real and sometimes people do get hurt. In terms of sable was a valet and was supposed to only be a valet ( a man or woman who leades a wrestler to the mat), but along the way vince wanted to add women to his wrestling show like they were doing in WCW at the time. so they rushed sable through a training camp and put her in the ring and it just went bad.
