being in the us air force was tough i had my plane shot twice and i was really freaked out back in vietnam my dad was a army veteran he retired out as a seragent he always told me being in the military was dangerous and very tough but i had overcome all my fears and i went out and fought for my country

i love this video for vietnam vets two of my uncles served in the vietnam war and my cuison was killed in vietnam in 1968 many of my friends are vietnam veterans so god bless you all

My father was in the vietnam war. He died December of 06 and was still haunted by the things he went thru there. I'm glad to see some people still care about our vets. You should always support our troops but, you don't have to support our government. You don't have to be killed in battle to be killed by a war.

I wasn't around during the time of vietnam, but I was raised military and I remember the things I saw as a child. My father and others of the armed forces including my mother have my deepest respect and I honor all those. Some won't watch this video including my Aunt due to the explicit memories she has of that time with my uncle, but she still has my respect and admiration. Maybe one day she will see it..Thank you all.

This is a really great video, with lots of wonderful footage. I just wanted to let you know that I will be showing this to my history class as part of a group project on the vietnam war. Our professor wanted us to find inspiring info that elevates the heros of the war, and I think this will help a lot! It seems like all I could find so far is negative stuff, but this is very moving.
