BTW, OpDePlanken where is Stray's, in my opinion, maybe best rocker "Crawl Up And Die?" Can't find it on you tube except from a band doing a cover. Can you get it? If, I be really happy. In my ears it sound like Eddie Cohran could have done it, but the cat's did it instead. "Crawl..." should be played LOUD!
This one was snatched from me in the big purge some month/s ago 'cause ( as it was explained to me ) you tube couldn't make the doles up front in enough amount the Warner conglomerate wanted but now the song is back in abduance. Oh, the Lord work in mysterious ways.

I might take water over my head but I assume that Warren Smith was the first one out with this one and recorded it August 1956 w/Roland Janes & Quinton Claunch on gtrs, Marshall Grant on bs and Clyde Leoppard on dms. Carl Mann also recorded it in the late '50s And never forget Roland Janes and drummer guys like WS "Fluke" Holland and JM Van Eaton.
