  • I have it on DVD

  • You made this on a DVD recorder

  • I see the Buena Vista logo in here, and I say judging by that, the source of the film came from the film's 1956 re-issue.

  • @systemoperator That means that this isn't the original version. The original version has the RKO logo in it. When this movie was re-issued, the RKO logo was replaced with the Buena Vista logo (because RKO went out of buisness for about 40-45 years until it went back in buisness in 1989).

  • That's right!

  • I GOT Song of the South ON DVD ;)

  • I know that a lot of Disney fans in America do want "Song of the South" on DVD. Since that is a fact, I think that Disney's new CEO; Robert Iger and the recent Walt Disney Company staff and administration should REALLY put it into consideration on putting it onto DVD, legally. Then all bootleggers can discontinue selling it online, overseas, eBay, or anywhere else outside America. Yes, it is a good Disney classic, but selling it illegally can put bootleggers in federal prison for many years.

  • I just want to know how you made a copy of this. I have the same movie and want to make a back up b4 it gets screwed up.

  • I like to swim in the pirates bay cough cough.

  • Selling bootlegs on youtube is risky.

Disney DOES send the feds after bootleggers.

  • im not selling it.

  • Like you guys have never bootlegged anything god the movie is out of print so it pretty much makes it fair game it is probably in the public domain by now (But i am not Promoting Bootlegging)but if a bootleg is the only way to get it then go for

  • In fact I wish the Disney DVD's or Blu-rays still use the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo.

  • Comment removed
