So funny! I have two yellow labs and my boy-dog howls to the piano all the time - even quiet Debussy pieces. He doesn't say a word, though, when I play the organ. He just goes to sleep while my girl dog sits up and listens. Great dogs and great companions!
Greetings from Finland. I love you, Albert! I kept searching videos with labrador retrievers (which I admire though I don't have a dog myself) in YouTube and eventually came across this video. It's obvious that you are a great music lover, Albert! And it was kind of cute to notice your embarrassment when you didn't recognize the music any more. Maybe you kept wondering why there suddenly were six measures of Beethoven added in the middle (2:00 - 2:07). Presto agitato :)
@papashayyy Sometimes they do it because they enjoy the reaction from their human buddies! Also it's a form of communication too. Part of socialising. The sounds they hear may sound "howl-like" to them and so they respond with an answering howl of their own :D
@papashayyy Oh! Also I just read this! "Surprisingly, howling can be a sign of happiness. People would sing at the top of their voice if they are happy and elated. A dog in a state of high excitement would howl too. Dogs think they....
@papashayyy ...are a part of the family, even if they are at the lowest rank. They would always want to join in family activities. If your singing is accompanied by the howling of the dog, don't be offended. It does not mean that your singing is hurting the dog's ears. It means that the dog is singing with you! " So it's all cool :D Yay.

@papashayyy actually, it's the opposite. It's pack behavior, like with wolves. The pack leader is making music, so Albert is joining in. If he found it unpleasant or it hurt his ears, he wouldn't sit there wagging his tail - he'd run off. Albert is getting his groove on, that's all.
What a fantastic boy! He loves the music - such concentration in his face. We were blessed with a particularly intelligent labrador too - Jasper - but his talent was a very astute sense of humour, much like a human's. Thank you for posting these videos. The memories are overwhelming.
