@firesheriff836 I can divert, and depending on different variables probably would have ... if it was ours ;) That's my scanner you're hearing, they're toning a different dept ... :)

@firesheriff836 "Med 0" is like City Fire's "Pre-Alert" ... The calltaker who receives a medical call transfers the call to the Ambulance dispatcher after getting enough information to initiate the call. Then the ambulance dispatcher assigns a medical level after getting more information, and the calltaker stays on the line to get that med level to give to the fire dispatcher ...
@firesheriff836 (part 2) that's a lot of background to say, if the call taker hears enough (like difficulty breathing) to know that Fire will be going emergency, either as a Med 1 or 2, they can send it up as a Med 0 to get fire rolling even before the ambulance dispatcher assigns an official level ...

could u have diverted to that structure fire at about 1:05?? or do u have to stay on the call u were already in route to?
