#13 Accents

My whole family is from England and so I seem to have a mental quirk where I speak with an English accent when speaking with the English and a Canadian one otherwise.

What's particularly odd is how I can be on the phone with my dad, bouncing between talking to him and someone in the room with me...and my accent will switch back and forth, from word to word, as I talk to one or the other.

It's nice when I'm in England though! Nobody every suspects I'm a tourist...

Haha, basically I pretend that my whole family is from England because I catch myself talking in an accent for no reason.

And awesomeness for being really sneaky and pretending you're not a tourist.

haha, it was just so freaking awkward. and there were so many times when my mom kept calling me for something. next time i have to completely isolate myself lol.
