So, Ron Paul wants Occupy Wall Street to know they're on the same page. This is no surprise. Ron Paul supporters and Occupiers both despise Conservatives.
@levar1979 Because true conservatives are some of the most evil, immoral people on the planet, and they don't really hide that fact. I am personally confussed on how they continue to exist is such high numbers. Guess it goes to show the bad side of our species. Not to mention they are really, really stupid most of the time...
I used to support the OWS, but I think it's turned into a mindless protest again everything, and that damn mic check just makes the people seem like drones! We DON'T have one voice and that's the way it should be.
Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party are both confused for the most part. I say they both read Austrian Economics!!!! End the Fed!! I am somewhat optimistic because there are libertarians in both groups.
@jneil2007 Agree that the Occupy movement seems to lack a clear message, and generally don't seem to have a solid understanding of capitalism/free-market economics. The Tea Party movement have some sensible economic ideas (e.g. small government). The problem, for me, is that they also seem to attract lots of socially conservative religious supporters; I think that puts off a lot of 'liberals' from supporting them. Where is the movement that supports both economic and social liberty?
@chuckles8519 No, what puts off a lot of Liberals is Conservativism.
I don't know any Conservatives trying to limit anyone's liberties. That's only what Libertarians perceive because they fear religion as much as government. Liberals, likewise fear religion, but in that it threatens government. Conservatives fear government will infringe upon religious freedom. Liberals do not fear Libertarians, in fact they think they are tolerable and somewhat endearing, compared to Conservatives.

@Zidriz you just don't understand yet.. What we have today is called "crony Capitalism" very close to Facism a free market makes everything affordable and cheap. @lushfauna That''s a bit arrogant of you don''t you think. To assume i don''t understand.
I understand just fine. I just realize that the word '' free'' in free market is used as propaganda aimed to make people believe it''s them that will become free.
@Zidriz Actually you're incorrect-- the only reason for the word "free" in "free market" is in the sense of an unrestricted market-- a market free of regulation.
Ladies and gentlemen! Winner by knock out in the 1st round, RON PAAAAAUUUUUUUL! But seriously, these Occutards are just getting silly. They sound like mindless drones repeating everything the soldier bee says. Disturbing.

unfortunately too many of the OWS'ers are misguided and ignorant about what the real problem is and how to fix it. they want more laws, more control, more centralization. that is the wrong direction and will cause more problems in the long run. think 1984 or brave new world.
@DieTheDeath You have a vague understanding of what the central point of it is. Sure there are alot of idiots that are attracted to it, it's main one is based in NYC for god sakes, do you think there are no insane people there? But their message that the MSM(Main-Stream-Media) loves to avoid, is getting corporate money out of politics, Ending the Federal Reserve, having the banks pay back the bailout they didn't need, and bills like the Glass-Steagel act reinstated. That's the cause of this.
@Sylinic that is a good explanation and i basically knew all that. but if the government was not so large and centralized it would not even matter whether there was corporate money in politics, etc.. No matter how pristine and intricate and all-encompassing the regulatory structure is there will always be those who find loop holes and are able to circumvent it to fulfill their ill wills. so the best solution is to not have all that power in one place no matter how well it is "regulated".
@Sylinic no i am suggesting that this governmental structure be fundamentally dismantled, not passing more regulatory legislation in an attempt to pacify it.
if the politicians did not have so much power it would not matter how much money they have, or really even what their intentions are.
@Sylinic Then how do you do this? Its incredibly simple. You don't rely on Ron Paul to do it, he has no chance of getting into the WH. You find your local legislator and lobby them to reinstate the GSA. Those who voted for the bail out, recall them or back the candidates that oppose them. I know you'd rather dream of some sweeping utopian dream of change, but you have to be realisitic.
@DavidLister6000 Well, he doesn't have a chance if you think voting doesn't change who becomes president(Corporate influence, ect), but given genuine voting, why doesn't he have a chance? @Sylinic ....a huge chance? He pulled in 9%. He dropped out last time. He is not gonna make it. If you want to start to create that change, you best most to his district, raise your family there in that enviroment. That's how yo win elections. @DavidLister6000 See, you're backpedaling. Inform me, explain why you think that, maybe you'll shed light on something I overlooked. As it stands though, it seems you're just a pessimist who has a person vendetta on Ron.
@Sylinic I'm not backpedaling from anything. Regardless of how you may worship RP, he will never get to the WH without an invitation. I have no personal vendetta against him. The idea that he can move from his Texas district to the big house is a joke.
@DavidLister6000 Alright, so let's establish this. You don't think he has a chance because certain powerful people don't want him to be president, but do you like him, and his politics?
@DavidLister6000 So if you do not believe in poll voting how can you say he does not stand a chance? Enough voters? He has the highest subscription on youtube. On top of that his audit the fed bill passed a few months ago and he was right about the bailouts.
