@BareseMaledetto thanks friend, checkout senshido.com and richard dimitri on facebook, there are a few schools worldwide and they may hold a seminar near you, best wishes
Loved seeing this. I wish I lived closer to my nieces so I could teach them stuff like this. Too many sick individuals loose in any neighbourhood unfortunately.
I like it. The only thing I saw (if your interested) is that her first instinct was to go forward after you put her down. IMO she should run the other way.
It was very good, I'm going to bookmark this and use it as inspiration when my daughter is a little older.
@seadawg93 you are right mate, and i think that is because she is familiar with me , i have told her the exact same thing...when you let go , get away...thanks for your input
Very good job, but what if the attacker just throws her down hard as a response? As a father you gently put her down but what would happen if as a reaction, the attacker throws her hard to the ground, fron that position, it's the back of her head that'll hit first, no?
of course kdbilr3z, there are a hundred different scenarios and what if's, nothing is written in stone. but what i do teach my kids to do is go absolutly feral, to kick, scratch ,scream , bite, hit, gouge, whatever is open to them. the attackers response will always dictate your next move.
Oh I agree, and am a big fan of Rich's work and have been personally shredded by him at a seminar (yeah, i was on of the fools that asked :) I wasn't questioning the efficiency of what your daughter was doing, just the general safety of a child doing that at that height level with a strong adult. But good points, I teach my kids the same, that's why I was asking.
@kdbilr3z In my opinion it's much better for her to do this type of response rather than just being passive and going with the stranger. At least this will draw attention from anyone nearby and the perpetrator might just abandon the abduction to seek an easier victim.
@combatdragon You're very welcome. Another thing to keep in mind is that it would be rather conspicuous for the abductor to have to carry off an unconscious child rather than lead one away hand in hand to an uncertain fate. I pray no child ever needs to fight off a grown up in any way, shape,or form but if they DO have to...Go FOR THE EYES then RUN!
lol that's incredibly effective yet so basic. you could tell she was going easy on her dad to, imagine if she was trying even harder.
