Too bad they're nerfing Divine Storm now. Warrior players whined like the spoiled little bitches they are, so it's getting the Whirlwind treatment come Cataclysm. In other words, it will deal 50% weapons damage, but to unlimited targets in its radius, instead of just four targets.

So, SO sick of Warrior players and their constant whining. If they get nerfed, they bitch til everyone else gets nerfed too. if someone else gets something, they bitch til it gets nerfed or they get their own buff.

Sure fine some people are glad paladins can't do a lot of damage cause they can do everything else, but I'm a lore guy and thats ultimately what everything is kinda based around. In Warcraft, I believe Pallies were the most powerful soldiers of the alliance, but they can hardly do damage, kind of disappointing, as much as I like tanking, pallies should be able to do good dps if they want to, hopefully wotlk will fix that

the only real problem for retri is not that we dont do damage, simply that we do not do stable/controlled damage. It pretty much comes down to basic luck. And besides any half decent pvper knows that we are kiteable as hell. Dont even mention Bless of Freedom, its one big red marker saying Dispel/purge/spellsteal. Our damage is also really mana heavy, just like spriests, difference is we dont get any back again =S. So id say this isnt OP but balanced in regards of more controlled damage.

actualy, i'm currently in beta on my ret paladin and i'm lvl 75 (the lvling rate is 80% tuffer then it will be on release) and I basicaly never have to drink durring any 5 mans or while questing. Judgements restore a good 30% of my mana every 8 seconds, + we have an evocation on a 3 min cooldown for boss fights. I currently put out about 2.2k dps in about equal gear to this fellow.

bullshit, we got evocation, we've got judgements of the wise, and if this guy didnt one shott all the mobs he put his hands on, he could keep judgement of wisdom on them, and hed maintain about 90-100% mana all the time, especially since he get like 1-3k mana every 8 sec rofl. and as you can see, he could easily one shott any other class, and this guy is even a noob, hes got crusader aura on. ur guna get spanked, warrs will go back to tanking, peace out.

Maybe that was the reason he was doing such high damage, no way right? A: the dmg you see here is not going to be in woltk. it is a math glitch, blizz has even said so. he is also in Good gear. of wich 90% of ret paladins dont have. cut his dmg in half and thats what most ret pallies will be doing come woltk.

you are still going ot be windfury buff dependnt from shaman to do any thing worthwhile dmg wise.

ret paladin dps isnt great in tbc, and wont be in woltk once it comes out in stores. however their Burst mixed with high surivlvbilty is what makes them good
