I don't see how an explosion(the Big Bang)can create the beauties of our world. Don't you see our universe has a design? I am not here to prove God exists though I believe He does. I am here to show the error in your reasoning. You at the most in your life will more than likely live 100 yrs or so. In the context of that, to say God does not exist because of and I quote you "A) Total absence from the natural world. Its impossible for you to say God is totally anything without the actually being there or having the records to prove it. And even with the records credibility comes in. @tallliza valid so it will always be TRUE. but because jesus died for us on the cross, those who sin against God can be pure again. we can only get to God through Jesus, who stand at the feet of God. Before Jesus wasn't there to vouch for us, but now he is. When we go through him and ask for forgivness we are PURE and FORGIVEN. God forgives at the snap of a finger if you mean it in your heart. I assure you he doesn't want us here on earth killing homosexuals or whoever. he want us to love.

@tallliza We have such a loving God that He allows the pain and suffering to last another day because the day that pain and suffering ends so does the chance for salvation. He allows the pain and suffering for the lost and the broken. And I thank God that He allowed that extra day for me! :-) God has proven that He is an infinitely loving and just God and He did that through His Son Jesus Christ dying on the cross, not just for me but for you too! :-) And I am forever grateful.

@tallliza so i've been reading the scriptures you have listed and i've looked them up in my bible and everything you stated is true. it does say to kill so and so and whatever was listed. but those scriptures are from the old testament when god was not forgiving. those who did the slightest out of line were demanded to be killed. that is why god sent his only son, jesus to die on the cross. he paid for all our sins so we wouldn't have to. he died for us, so we would not have to die like before

@tallliza hmm thats a passage in an extremely strategic place seeing that YHWH establishes the law AFTER demonstrating his power, compassion and faithfulness by delivering Israel from Egypt, but since you threw out the scripture, it deserves a good answer. no one, at least not in scripture was ever put to death for working on the sabbath, though Jesus received large amounts of persecution for it by the pharisees. the repercussion of death speaks to the severity of sin and breaking covenant.

He didn't let them die we did. Think of what decisions we as humans make there are so many that if we would of done before so many deaths would of never happened. I am not here to prove God exists though I believe He does. I am here to show the error in your reasoning. You at the most in your life will more than likely live 100 yrs or so. In the context of that, to say God does not exist because of and I quote you "A) Total absence from the natural world. I challenge you disprove JESUS existed, did miracles, claimed to be God, and died and rose again. Also, if you think about the complexity found in the universe, it is hard to deny that there is a divine. The truth is, it is easy to believe there is a god; it's hard to believe that this God is Jesus. Albert Einstein proclaimed that the harmony in the universe is unimaginably hard to grasp, he believed in God.

@andrewspak Silly kid `!! So if I use communist beliefs, to show communism is wrong, that proves I believe in Communism ?? Where did you learn logic ? The Lightning rod, that simple thing, is a powerful tool to prove there most probably is no god. Who in this world, would not protect his own ? Is god`s logic different from ours ? The complexity in this world is as much an argument pro as contra. What inventor would make something complex ( E.G. the cell) when can make it very simple ?

@tallliza what i'm saying is that your very mention of the idea of "god" comes from somewhere. Where did that idea come from? Anything that exists mentally and physically is greater than things that simply exist mentally. And what greater thought is there than God? If God is the greatest thought and the previous statement is true, then God surely exists. Answer me this, where did the idea of God come from if there does not exists God and if there is no God, why do we exist?

@andrewspak Theological bullshit. If there is a god , let hinm show himself. He supposedly went trough so much trouble 2.000 years ago. Is it really too much to give each generation an iirefutable sign of his existence. Is faith more important to him than saving us ? Did he come to save our immortal souls, or did he come to make us believe ?
