Has anyone got any footage or pics from when the train climbs up through the tunnels up to beach loop?? I had some last year when i went on the silver fern rail car to gisborne but lost it all on my old laptop. I didnt back it up! Silly me
@madpetrolhead ah yep yep, i see from your vid, im glad to see i wasnt in your shot, i thought i might of been as i was tryin to get a bit closer to the action lol
@CarAudioGuy21 its an Cannon EOS 5D mk2, running manual video exposure, thats why some areas are a bit dark. the 5d exports as .mov but posted as a 800meg mp4 file lol. I think ur 7d should do something simular depending what lens you use.
@Rawrnz oh Mint yes im saving up for some more i only have the Standard kit Len's they do the job but are not as nice as most of the Decent ones, so yes hope to get one or 2 around the new year, cause they are restricting my cameras performance, good work on the shot locations, love seeing NZ So green in HD

@djjayrasik there was a helicopter chasing the train on the return day, he took some good footage, i believe it should surface soon enough.

Awesome video, excellent colour and sound, your camera must be of excellent quality.
I think I was with you guys at the Waikohua Viaduct on top of the hill above the main road, there were four of us up there, magic spot for filming.
