what the hell is it with 12 year olds posting shit on weapons seriously where are the parents at, this is a great knife i have this and a muela defender 22 bowie great knives
Just got myself this knife and is waiting for me at me mum's haha. Unlike a lot of the more expensive brands of knives at least these are made in Spain and not in China or Taiwan. Very good knife for the money.
@jacobgrace83 im not made of money, kabar knives n custom knives are too expensive for me, yes they are alot better but that come with a price. this is an awesome knife for the prise.
wtf? how old are you and your in australia so you should be like 16 but your obviously not, and wearing your scholl uniform and looking at the camera makes everybody (including the police) know you have a knife.
@Grogutz When you purchase a knife in Australia, the seller keeps record of what weapons are sold and who too for the police. This record is kept for 10 years then thrown away. There are also some places where you can buy knives of this quality or higher sold "under the table". There are ways..
.I used this knife for the last 6 years and all i can say is that this knife was my best investment.I used it for hunting and camping. With this knife i chopped trees that were very very thick. If you are skilled enough you can use this knife as a machete and chop like an axe
that makes me feel even more confident in having a muela. mines also imported by ruko, and its a nice size. 5" blade is all i really need. i havent used mine much though and dont know much about knives. yes, mine is razor sharp!
I have the same Muela knife. Got it @ a local sporting goods store where I live. 40$ brand new. It is distributed by Ruko Knife. Excellent knife. Came out the box RAZOR sharp. Good weight, feel, size, the whole 9 yards. I'm sure it is cheaper here the USA. For $40 it is a great purchase. Love the sheath. Kydex which is much better than a nylon sheath.
firstly paper blunts a blade, secondly your blatently not responsible enough to own a knife, and thirdly that is the shittest `review` ive ever seen. OOHHH look it doesnt fall out of the sheath, im so tempted to buy one now because it really doesnt fall out!!! WoW! im shocked!! fucking inbread yank. go stick your chode in a cheese burger and kill some more british troops while your at it.
@sjowners make ya own video u shit fucker c how good yours is!!! im not a inbread yank. y would i kill british troops u fuck tard, i dont c u fighting for your country!!! yer paper blunts knifes bt how the fuck em i suposed to show how sharp the knife is? if its really that shit y watch it n wast the time righting bitch...u could of spent that time bating over that gay mag
@wickedstuff000 calm down lads, cutting anything will blunten a knife eventually, yes its not the greatest video review but at least he gave it ago. i will make a point that its handy not to have a knife that can fall out of the bloody pouch, mines some what worn and moves up so when u go to take it out u near remove ya finger if your not looking. but its just a minor detail. also dont bite back when someone bitch's at ya, not worth it, its just how people are on here,
@whitethronebooks-it keeps a edge pritty good bt its only a 440c stainless steal blade whitch is close to the bottom of the line, it has i good weight to make up for it if u r doing log choping or stuff like that, as long as u keep it topped up with WD40 it cuts through easy even if its not to sharp.
@wickedstuff000 Thank you. 440C is quite good if heat-treated properly. Entrek and Mil-Tac use 440C. Perhaps Muela uses a lesser quality heat treatment on their low end knives. 420, 440A, and AUS-4/AUS-6 are the low end, and are especially bad in cheap Chinese blades.
@whitethronebooks- the muela knives are made in spain, im not shor bought there standed but it couldnt be to bad quality because they where used in the military in spain. i think even though there all 440c some are better constructed n heat treated.
I too have the exact same 5161 Muela Military knife. Picked mine up for Rs. 2500 (India) very strong n sturdy knife...takin it camping n swimming. No rust at all, cuts any material right from tree branches cardboard Chicken pork...Absolutely beautiful blade. The drawback lies only with the sheath. U can'carry it upside down (ie strapped to ur chest) once u open the button flap it just falls down. I prefer wearing it around my hip n strappin it to my thigh using a lace. Overall amazin!!!
yer its been throught alot with my use but still awsome i use mine nearly every day but i need to give u a heads up i descoverd that its only a three quater tang n can get loose it u chop wood with it alot but other then that it great
around a year now and i have used it as hard as a machete and still no problems so dont be afraid 2 go camping or hunting cause these knives prove themselves worthy, i to am australian and picked mine up for about $90 from king of knives
i live i australia, i brought it from a shop called aussie disposals tweed heads all the assie dispsals are good n all carry the same brands n products
wow, i didnt know they still made these. when i was 8, my dad and i were really into camping. so he got both of us one of these knives. that was 12 years ago. the knife has been through HELL! it is still like new. no chips in the blade, still sharp (never been sharpened) no cracks in the sheath. GREAT KNIFE!
Good Video, I just purchased this knife. It has a great feel sitting in your hand, a good weight and yes, a sharp blade. Good Video, buy some more and keep the reviews coming.
Maybe you need to learn to sharpen your knife Altimaki, my scorpion holds an edge very well. Ten points to this kid for getting his interest out there
does the blade run through the bottom of the handle or does it stop where the handle begins ?
