I love this movie, like I think the romance between the chairman and Sayuri is cute. I don't get why some people commenting on this video is freakin out about the age difference between the characters and there are reasons why arguing about it is pointless:

1. The book/film took place in around late 1930's and 1940's so huge age differences in couples were very common.

2. Sayuri and the chairman became an official couple when Sayuri is a legal adult or so that is a total issue altogether

I read the novel some six years ago before I even watch this movie... and I still find it so amazingly romantic... :)

Is the most beautiful love story from a book between Sayuri and Chairman,Memoires of a Gheisha is the best book that appeared in our times,I wish to all to read this book.Zihy Zhang is the best actrice,she plays wonderful.Anybody can see that Sayuri and Chairman are in love no matter how much years apart them! I really liked it! Well... I've been reading the book these days, and I am feeling like a very close friend of Sayuri, like she was really telling the story for me. This video make me feel like I was there seeing everything she was passing through, and the music has created like a very emotive situation... I really could get into this all situation of passion, like I was suffering with her... I think it was a really well-made video. Congratulations!

This song was originally a Japanese song, other than that I do not see where you are coming from, the lyrics of the song are what the video goes to, not the sound, I consider this my art, I went to school for video editing and this is my hobby. The man who wrote this book wrote it based on a little teeny bit of what Mineko Iwasaki, Whom he interviewed, told him. Then he published lies. As a retaliation she wrote her own book. "Geisha of Gion" This is the real story...Now, I'm not saying this book wasn't good, and that I didn't like the movie, but all must understand that it is complete fabrication. Just...FYI.

nice! i particularly like the shots at and 0.23, 2.15, 2.46, 3.43. well chosen clips. the colour mutation was a bit wierd :p liked th grey and sepia tho. maybe next time try and use clips without people talking and match it more to the rythm of the music. =] sweet ending. keep it up!
