hey Lucky, i am considering getting an ultima (i might do an F1 V10 conversion as i found one with roughly 700bhp for under £5000) , anyway i do lots of trackdays and i need something with lots of grip... so #1 i was just wondering if, when cornering does the ultima feel like it will break traction and #2 how much body roll does the ultima have.
Yes you can have a centre cable shift, but most builders go with the right hand rod linkage shift. It takes about a week to get used to but then is second nature. Lots of true racers have the shift on that side!
Yo Luckyp103 - love the dash and main dials - do you have a build site or somewhere where I can nick your layout for my build (start Jan 09). btw what spec engine are you running? Any more info on PistonHeads?

The engine is a std American Speed 383 SBC with 497 on the rolling road (550CHP from Amerspeed)
After that vid I have changed a load of stuff in th engine, dry sumped, new cam - now about 550 BHP. Mor importantly, I have gone back to the std G50 03 box ratios which are perfect for track (you can see in this vid that there are too higher drop between 3rd and 4th.

Would be nice to know which engine he's running in that particular Ultima. Nice smooth driving too.
