wow this sounds way larger than I anticipated, let's hope it can retain the Monochrom-ness (and the Yes Men cameo better be good, you won't match them in the CGI department, that's for sure)
isnt this just a pitch for a cinema film with no/little budget? Why on earth is this on TED? And if Johannes thinks cinema is defined by explosions and kissing we should expect a low budget Michael bay film.
@peterpan6: Oh, thanks for completely misunderstanding me. We are trying to create a classic narrative movie, but playing with the abstract stories of information society. It's not about form, it's about content.
Of course we can need money, but the main goal is to find people who share our approach.
@grenzfurthner What you just said now makes much more sense to me. I think somehow the pitch is misleading because its on TED and it seams you're talking about some radial new way to approach cinema. But what you are really trying to do is tell what your movie is about and how that story and the way of telling is relevant in this day and age. Maybe you needed to frame your needs for a pitch with TED's needs for a lecture? In any case I hope your film get made.
Wasnt it all about "Ideas worth spreading?" This really sounds like nothing more than a sales pitch...

Probably the most sedate talk by Johannes I've ever seen.
