I don´t know where you have been, but did you really listen to the Resistance?? It is *ucking great! (pardon my english...) I mean, a huge mount of critics are saying it is their best album so far. And pleeeeeease don´t compare that boring song with Unintended. Forget about Radiohead, stop comparing them!! They are not alike as many claim they are... I do not know whether that song is more popular than Muse song or not, but I can say this; soon enough Unintended will be, if they´re not know

Can anyone else see how similar Unintended is to Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead? Both are soft ballads which have a rhythmic acoustic part played by Chris/Thom Yorke, while similar shimmery, spacey effects are created on the electric guitar by Matt/Jonny Greenwood throughout. The final choruses of both songs kick in with distortion to enhance the climax, and both conclude with the acoustic guitar. Please dont hate me for this suggestion. I am a Muse fan and I dont mean to start a Radiohead war.

Muse's Unintended is so heartbreaking you just can't compare it to something like Fake Plastic Trees... maybe they have the stracture in common, but I liked this song way before I even knew about Muse and loved it and when I learned that this is a Muse song, I fell for them even more, I mean this is really an epic song. you can't say that about FPT

That's an opinion, not a fact. It is true that I did like Muse way more than Radiohead, but now with the release of The Resistance I'm gonna have to go with Radiohead now. I'm very disappointed in Muse :( Anyway, fair enough if you like Unintended more, I would've once upon a time, but don't say Fake Plastic Trees isn't epic when it is still an Alternative rock classic. It is a far more popular song than Unintended too, so show at least a little respect for the song ;)

@ACEBAKER911 it's about someone who was in a really bad relationship and he's trying to recover, meanwhile he meets someone that might be the one but he has to recover from his wounds caused by that first relationship the one that was supposedly the "intended" and now he found someone new-the unintended... the one he can truly be with...
