I like the Ernie Ball, it's got a much wider sweep than most wahs. Take a bit of getting used to as your foot/ankle has to travel further BUT once you're used to it it's great. The battery seems to last much longer than it does in other wah wah pedals, usually I end up resorting to the use of the power source to avoid losing power half way through a session, with the Ernie Ball this has never happened.
as long as the 9v adapter is plugged in it will run off of that even if the battery is in the pedal. It just makes it easier so that when you go gigging you dont have to throw a 9v battery in all of your pedals.
Hello everyone! We have a new "Official You Tube Channel" for Ernie Ball Music Man called "ernieballinc." Very poor wah , almost sounds like a volume pedal , no vocal quality at all sterile they make great basses and guitars ..you either want a wah or not , this is NOT a wah ..good player though
Is it great? Go try one and figure it out. It sounds pretty good here. You have to try it yourself to see. Some will dig it, some wont. You cant decide without trying it.
YES IT DOES!!!.........to people that have that kind of money to randomly throw around that is....so when i wanted wah, i bought a crybaby that was a hundred bucks on craigslist for $60!!!
When you use 3 wahs Like a I do( I dont want a rack unit and they are all infront of my amp) across the stage batteries are handy when the is power outlet on stage the are only near the amps so batteries a handy and I never saw or heared a diffrence with Power suplie and batteies.
Ah ok I understand, weel I know that Rechargeble batteries are the worst for pedals because they can damage the electronics compared to Alkaline batteries and I thaught a bit about it and yess power - suppliy is still the best it give a even source of power compared tob atterie when they are let say half capacity the give out more power...... So I think DamageIncM is right( I'll go bye power supplys lol)
But I understand when you have multiple pedals over the stage and you can't just use a power-supply for every single one of them.
I think personally I would still use a single adapter (for each pedal outside the reach of the main power-supply) though, to just connect directly to a powerplug-box.
Because if I'd have such a wide setup, some extra adapters wouldn't matter much anymore.
Hi... I bought this pedal a week ago and the power stopped working already!! It doesn't do anything when I push it. I know it is adjustable but even doing it, does not turn on!
Have you try changing the Battery? it is maybe your probleme or take it to the shop you got it from and try to see if they can repaire it or get you a replacement one.
NO, is not that. The power botton is suppose to do a click sound and is not doing it. Son is not turning on! I just retuned it. Just don'd want it any more!

daft question but does it have rubber stoppers on the bottom so the wah doesent keep turning off on and on?
jakeyboy2929 10 months ago
@jakeyboy2929 its a button that you have to push all the way with the footplate till it clicks, so no need for rebber stoppers

why have a power cable connected when he has a battery inside?!!!
me128166 2 years ago
cos its a demo ?
bertie169 2 years ago
you make no sense.
i mean, the pedal needs power, so he put the battery in.....then for some odd reason he still feels he needs a pwer cable as well!!!
me128166 2 years ago
why waste batteries at home? run off the 9v adapter at home and save the batteries for the road...
NewOscarGuy 2 years ago
but he has them BOTH in at the same time!!!
me128166 2 years ago

Both apply assholes. Some need the battery, some use the power supply in the pedal board. Drink more coffee and practice.

Sure, the battery-compartment might open easy, but what if it's stuck to your pedalboard or something?...
But then again, most people with a pedalboard would use external power anyways.
It's also not recommended to use a battery...
I don't even know why they still include that. :S
DamageIncM 3 years ago
Some people prefer to use batteries vs. power supplies. It's a tone mojo thing. ;D
plinkytx 3 years ago
Hm, bad mojo then? :P
I'm sure a power-supply delivers better "conditioned" power than little batteries.
Except there was this SAG thing for distortion pedals or whatever.
Only even power-supplies have that feature these days.

Woaaa, Kirk-wannabe. :P
But ya, it was about those guys that were all like "batteries sound better".
While if anything, I'm sure a good power-supply would be better than batteries to start with.
I didn't say there is a difference.
But I'm definitely not on the batteries side if I had to choose.
