motley got fucking ripped off this festival, they were told to not use any pyro props or anything, and their manager was also managing bon jovi, and as soon as bon jovi came on jon walked down hit the stage and BOOM!!!!! they needed permits to use them and doc the manager had to know, he got fired because doc is a fat fuck that used motley for his own legal troubles. from the dirt

Better than the " US Festivals" in 1982/1983....NO WAYY!!! I personally did not attended the one in Moscow, however I was at both US Festivals in Glen Helen Regional Park, San Bernardino Ca. 3 days each of kick ass Rock n' roll.There's simply no question about it...You're wrong my friend.( Just compare the line-ups. 26 bands at US'83 vs 8 at Moscow

None of the bands were supposed to be headline, their manager told them that all bands were equal and would get the same playing time. The reason they got pissed was that Bon Jovi got fireworks and shit, and got 45 minutes or so to play...

Doc McGhee also managed Bon Jovi. and another fact was that the Manager did a secret money deal with the Russian Organisers and cut the band out of the cash. So it was pretty deceitful all round. That's why Motley Crue sacked Doc McGhee that year. So, it was all about real ill-feeling.
