The trailer so far is all lies compared to the book. She didn't have kisses or hugs with him because of their culture difference. As a matter of fact I didn't like the story line of her love story at all. It seemed like a fantasy on her part and unshared by the Masai man himself. I fail to see how their story deserves the credit of a love story. I am usually very positive and was excited to read the book. I feel this trailer is how I wanted the story to be, loving and emotional.

The trailer so far is all lies compared to the book. She didn't have kisses or hugs with him because of their culture difference. As a matter of fact I didn't like the story line of her love story at all. It seemed like a fantasy on her part and unshared by the Masai man himself. I fail to see how their story deserves the credit of a love story. I am usually very positive and was excited to read the book. I feel this trailer is how I wanted the story to be, loving and emotional.

Wel i do think the story is romantic. She sacrifices everything and went back to the basic/nature to life with the men of her dreams. She followed her heart. But following youre heart is nog a quarantee for not getting harmed. I read the book two. And that Letinga did not romance was because of the cultural difference. But that does not mean he did not love here. He is not formular withe romance because romance is a white european culture. That does not make the story itself les romantic

I liked this movie. It was cool because my mom is from germany and I could understand the german & the english. :) Jacky Ido is gorgeous. Interesting story. Now if more people on here could just stop being racist.... Seriously how has racism ever benefited anyone? There are different people in the world. The problem with Corinna (in the movie she's calld "Carola") and her Massai-husband was NOT the different race or skin colour. After all, Heidi Klum is happily married to Seal, isn't she? No the problem was the complete different culture, way of life, way of thinking of the massai.
