I grew up in Spfld, it's a good place to be from but I'd never live there as an adult. Shawnee class of '86 Spfld Community track club and Northwood Hills CC. There was always plenty for us to do as kids, rode our bikes every freakin where. Too bad the white water park wasn't there back in the 80's that would have helped me play in the rivers out here better. People can be losers anywhere, it doesn't depend on the town your in but it does have a lot to do w/ what you make of life.

I have lived in Springfield almost all of my life. In truth, it sucks. There is absolutely nothing to do. Unless you are a crackhead or an alcoholic, then this town is not for you. Man, I joined the Army for five years just to take a break and get out.
