Would it be more efficient and easier to build if you replaced the flapper mech. with a central electromagnet & place 2 small magnets on either end of the wing rods and switch the central electro on and off at a high rate of speed.You would have to have the 2 wing rods on a spring so they return to the original starting position so they can be repelled by the electro or I suppose you could reverse the polarity of the electromagnet to attract them.All u need then is a main wing to make it fly

I agree; make wings flap instead and take it off jumps. I wouldn't care if it flew, but going off jumps and flying a distance would be fun!

This one is the only one....it took about eight hours just to build up the flapper mechanism......if you want to pay a lot I would build one for you....but if you are handy with things you will be able to build one yourself...maybe a better one than this.
