Thank you for nice words! for me I am nit at all about muffling drums, drums should "Sing" and you see I tune the bottom heads WAY UP tight! then the top heads are for "Tone" on the bass drum all I use is a 3" wide felt strip, and again the front hed is tight and batter head for tone, I (Most) of the time tune to "When the Levee Breaks" Led Zeppelin,

The Bass drum is 14"x 26" Classic kit Birch and Maple "Butter edge" 14" 16" and 18" toms and 29" Machine Timpani I also own a 16"x 24" bass drum with smaller sized toms as well.

I just thought he was a small guy, I mean, he is, but his LARGE drum sizes made him look smaller than he really is. He's actually a pretty good drummer!
