  • Saw him 11-16-2011 in Oklahoma, and I wanted to jump but I was afraid I'd fall & I wanted to hollar but the joint was to small! He was rockin' the place!

  • Is this a take-off of the Crickets, with Glen Hardin on piano?

  • kinda sucks that i didn't get to see the piano player play his solo, instead i got to see some old turds that should probably be laying down @ Brookside Funeral Home. No! Im not really bitching, Thanks for the video.

  • Wow! Why is the legendary Johnny Rivers aging so much better than his fans? Hardly seems fair.

  • goosebumps.. this been in a few movies..

  • Love This song & only Johnny Rivers can get the crowd going in Monterey,California. Hurry back to California. Dixie

  • Crazy about JRivers Music & he always does 150% when he is in Monterey,CA. California always gets the Best from Johnny & his Band.

  • GREAT Old tune, but it must suck having to play for a bunch of deadbeats like that crowd

    IDK maybe more COWBELL?

  • white people dancing ....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!

  • where is the cow bell?????

  • anyone know who was on keyboards?

  • @caroleyahoo1965

I heard Johnny say, "Lets hear it for Chef John Keystone!" He does play the keyboard very well and that seems like a difficult piece to play.

  • @MissColleen1266

Skip Edwards is on keyboards, I do not know who he was referring to unless it was a Chef cooking for the venue he was playing. But Charlie Wood is on percussion (he does a GREAT job) and that is deffinitely Skip on Keys and GREAT would not even come close to describing his abilities! He can certainly tickle those Ivories but he can also play a MEAN accordian!

  • @MissColleen1266 "Let's hear it for Chef John Pisto" - Monterey Restauranteur - Whaling Station Inn, as well as Chef & host of worldwide syndicated cooking show "Cookin' Monterey Style."

  • @MissColleen1266 i am learning it.....obviously it is a difficult piece to play.....

  • Only a real man can pull off wearing pink!

  • I have seen him twice in the last two months and I will go see him every time I get the chance! He is an amazing timeless artist and his talent is so embedded that he sounds the same live as he does recorded, there are not many that can make that claim. He deserves to be in the hall of fame and I would love to see him get that honor. Keep right on a rock'in Johnny!

  • jhon rivers got agood voice he can sing

  • EXCELENTE

  • @lupitavzz Thanks.

  • One of the best in a class of his own..

  • @goffbum

Agree! A wonderful man with a great gift, his music.

  • I LOVE Johnny Rivers,

hope to be lucky enough to see him one day!!

  • @denisedibear
