Yes, not so cool. I really think it was an accident. Bald Eagles are scavengers & will eat road kill. It was on a very busy 4 lane highway, main one north to south in Florida.
The Eagle was in the road eating road kill & the 4 lane traffic going so fast the vehicle probably could not stop. At least someone cared enough to bring the Eagle to a Veterinarian for help. Awesome Eagle!

Aw, this is so depressing just looking into her eyes she looks scared....I hoped she was saved. Her look to me was that she didn't want to die.
