Although Kenny Lovelace is Jerry Lee Lewis's guitarist the songwriting credits go to Sonny Throckmorton. Throckmorton has written many a classic but I've often wondered whether Kenny may have sold this song or at least co-written it.

This is a stupid comparison, maybe this song applies to regular joe's but Elvis didn't have anything to prove.
