just wanted to say i enjoyed listening to your playing. :-) i just performed this entire sonata on my first recital since undergrad. i hope you're still playing and that you're loving it more and more every day!
Tip #2: for the higher positions, I noticed you had trouble with intonation. The thing to remember when you're up there is that even though the fingering is roughly the same as first position, the spacing in between fingers is shorter. If you compensate the distance, you will come out less sharp/flat and your tone will be better. Also, if you can do vibrato, try it for the longer notes, because it can partially mask small intonation issues.
You talk like my teacher and you are right again! I haven't a lot of experience in third position, as you see. About vibrato, better not to talk. It seem easy but I can't to reach it even studying and repeating.
I have played other songs recently. I hope you to feel a little improve :-)
Your playing is pretty good, especially considering your relative lack of experience on the instrument. Some tips for Corelli (and the violin in general):
1: try to be less wooden. Not only does your sound quality improve and you look better as a player, you will feel more confident. for the bow, use a swishing wrist motion in place of your elbow, and put your index finger higher on the stick. That will increase your wrist's control and the fluidity of your playing.
Yes, you hit the question. I am studying about correct this fact. My teacher knows this and try to help me. More of your advice meet with her. Are you a student too? Thanks.
Keep playing. Just because you started late it doesn't mean you don't have the right to enjoy yourself. On with the practice and I'm sure you'll be great one day!
I agree with the comment on "very good" for 4 years adult learning! I see even a change of positions which many adult students would not even dare doing at 4 years. Studying the violin is a lifetime challenge. Good job!

I would like to improve, but my progress is too slow. I have been playing for four years and continue studying in a music school.
Thanks for your comment.
