In the 10th commandment, it also says not to covet his ox, or his donkey, or his servant but looking back at it, I guess it means you shouldn't want to possess what your neighbor has, so basically don't be jealous.

To Love one another as he loved us. Only one has ever fulfilled the law and that is Christ... Rape is not condoned by the law. No, actually maybe I'm who misunderstood. I always took "thou shal not covet thy neighbor's wife" as meaning don't bang her. In the 10th commandment, it also says not to covet his ox, or his donkey, or his servant but looking back at it, I guess it means you shouldn't want to possess what your neighbor has, so basically don't be jealous.
As far as murder being rape, no, that's nonsense. See, back then, women didn't have much of a choice in marriage, and forced sex followed.

You guys need to read the book of mormon. It's the history you're all looking for. Many of the american indians are descendants of peoples who sailed to america fleeing jerusalem around the time of 600 b.c. The book of mormon is a record of those people until about 400 a.d. They had the 10 commandments because they came from Jerusalem. They even have many of the teachings we read in the new testament. They were visited by Jesus Christ after his ascension and were taught by him.

If people did not believe in something standards would not exsist there would be no point in being moral or being just. Every living creature carries hope inside of them and this hope pushes them to faith, believing that they can accomplish something. You wouldnt get out of bed every morning if you did not believe you could. Religion gives people hope. Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt, hope dies last. Its too bad we can't all follow our consciences and do that which we know is right though.

What other person from another religion was born in December 25? The different nations used different calendars and they tended to be lunar. The best GUESS is that the inscription is between 500-3000 years old. How was this number arrived at?
