So how do you think this new Supreme Court decision is going to play out, regarding Corporations donating large sums of money to candidates? Is there any oversight? I think the problem is mainly classification,that is, who is actually conducting the PSYOP? If the military is doing it (under orders) it is called PSYOP, and is only allowed against foreign targets. If political organizations are doing it (no DoD resources involved) It is called "Politics as usual" The problem arises when current or former military personnel, go to work for political organizations that target the American people.

First of all, it's the Smith-Mundt Act of 1942. Second of all, you should read it's text in it's entirety. It has been incorporated into the US Code, particularly chapter 18. Smith-Mundt was written specifically to administer the radio broadcast known as Voice of America. PSYOP personnel are prohibited from targeting American citizens with PSYOP within the borders in the United States. PSYOP personnel may be utilized to disseminate non-PSYOP information, as was done during Hurricane Katrina.

I think the problem is mainly classification,that is, who is actually conducting the PSYOP? If the military is doing it (under orders) it is called PSYOP, and is only allowed against foreign targets. If political organizations are doing it (no DoD resources involved) It is called "Politics as usual" The problem arises when current or former military personnel, go to work for political organizations that target the American people.

The problem is not one of classification, it is that the senior leadership of this nation and DoD are risk averse politicians who refuse to define the desired outcomes and leverage all national power in achieving those outcomes. "Make the world safe for US interests" as an example may mean defending those interests with lethal or non-lethal means. Heaven forbid we kill or offend anyone in the process.

As a reservist, when I am home, I need a civilian job. Just because I work at CNN or NPR doesnt mean that the government is using PSYOP against Americans. This is Bull. First of all, it's the Smith-Mundt Act of 1942. Second of all, you should read it's text in it's entirety. It has been incorporated into the US Code, particularly chapter 18. Smith-Mundt was written specifically to administer the radio broadcast known as Voice of America. PSYOP personnel are prohibited from targeting American citizens with PSYOP within the borders in the United States. PSYOP personnel may be utilized to disseminate non-PSYOP information, as was done during Hurricane Katrina.

The most effective countermeasure to PSYOP is the Internet.
Think of the Internet like you would a radio frequency. Currently, they cannot censor the Internet or jam it. (There are classified strategic plans however...)
Turn off your TV and cancel your newspaper subscription.
Go strictly with the Internet for news and political research, entertainment etc.
Political Psyops will continue on the Internet, but they cannot DOMINATE the medium because they are vastly out-numbered.

We let people hang out when they are thinking about joining to make an informed decision. Remember both the army and CIA do psyop. They are covert, we are not. We wear uniforms with our names. Really? That was my 1st sgt. I'll ask him about it, he's either mistaking you for someone else or it happened somewhere else; probably the former. Most of what we'd show on youtube is tactical stuff. Training in a classroom or a face-to-face interview makes for boring video. I'm personally based in Texas, and I'm a team chief for a TPT, tactical psyop team. My job is to maintain open communication between my supported unit and the people in their AO. Conflict increases as coms. break down.

Zasacc, I have done a few youtube videos on the US military, Breaking the Nuremberg Code and US Troops in Germany, for example. I have also written about service members, Lawsuit for Gulf War Veterans Targets WMD Businesses, for example. From all of these, you can see I want the troops to be treated with respect. I also want US foreign policy to respect those abroad. I can imagine you, and your brother, might agree with those goals.

The incident your referring to was actually in Panama, it was reported that they were using psyop to break down Noriega by playing songs like " I fought the law and the law won" incidentally, the music was merely played for the enjoyment of the troops to pump them up, and the psyoper involved years later shot himself, he was a depressed alcoholic. On another note, I can confirm that psyopers were interning at NPR.

Technology has outrun the morals of men. If it hadn't, then we wouldn't be spending all of our wasted efforts trying to win wars, or protect ourselves from them. But in our society, wars are profitable and keep the rich in power.
The only society that can flurish is one that is rewarded on teaching a person the value of his self worth. Because when its all said and done... well he'll see. He's been robbed and made to do evil things for the sake of surviving in an oppressed system.

Just keep your 10 commandments close. Education and exploring is ok, but when you break 1 of the 10 commandments then you have gone too far. Listen to your conscience. There's too many people out there think success means riches, or power, or whatever.
How much of it will they take with them when they die? Not 1 ounce except their self worth of what they created.
Oh and by the way... this sounds like Russian scientists who have infiltrated our US. Atleast they were the front men for it.

When the world understands that each of our individual morals are what keeps us safe in this world, then they will understand its importance.
Too bad we live in an oppressed monetary system designed to strip men of their morals.
If you dont see that the monetary system and our tax system is the base of our humanity which is robbing us of our peace, then other then telling you, and you not seeing it, I dont know what will. See this first, and all other things fall in place.

Good info on Sentient World Simulation. I read that its being used now by both Homeland Security and the US Defense Department. Too bad some of the commenters below apparently didnt even take the time to understand what youre talking about. Outside of their narrow range, apparently.

This lady says the whole focus of US PsyOps to support Bush policies. That's not really true. It's more akin to the US Military operational goals. This lady isn't quite a nut, but she really fails to understand what PsyOps are for. I gotta admit, she's pretty articulate for a nut case.

@stevesurv hey, go US Army Civil Affairs(CA). We are also under USACAPOC.I'll tell you why. I've deployed with US Army Civil Affairs twice to Iraq and could have used a civil engineering degree to help in countless situations. i ended up liasing with USACE and USAID to find expertise but all in all I wish I would have had a Civil Engineering degree. PM me and i'll find you the right people to talk to.

By the way psyop doesn't push propaganda. propaganda is what the US refers to as enemy or non US roots. Basically, if it didn't come from us then its propaganda. Also, alot of psyop soldiers RETIRE and move on to media/marketing type of careers. The dudes who worked at NPR/CNN were retired from the military!!!! Fact- dumb bitch- get it straight

They were young interns and interns only. They were there to learn how to operate and produce video media. They had no input into the content or practices of any of those places. They asked permission in writing to those places and were allowed to learn. That's it.
