This should be an isolated, controlled squeeze. Jerking a row is a recipe for disaster. It should be done with the lumbar & thoracic spine fully-arched throughout the entire set. (The cervical spine should be neutral.) When you can't do another prefect rep, pull as hard as you can for up to another minute without breaking from. This static pull will do more good than a cheat rep. You may even get in another perfect rep.
