  • Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are both fantastic

  • Im all confused now... dont know which soundgarden is my favorite anymore.... and I'm still missing ULTRAMEGA OK :/

  • magic night in barcelona

  • listen to Limo Wreck off of superunknown

  • Slaves and Bulldozers is fucking heavy!

  • I can't choose between Badmotorfinger and Superunknown as my favorite Soundgarden album. They're both amazing

  • I easily think this is their best effort, a mix between the songwriting skills of Superunknown, and the raw power of Louder Than Love.

  • grande voce!!

  • {translated from Italian} Had he been a sell up, he would have done a reunion tour with Soundgarden and sold out stadiums around the world just to pocket some extra cash.

Instead, he made a record that neither rock lovers nor R&B (or hip hop or whatever) lovers could enjoy. It was a bad bad decision, but I don't think that makes him a sell up, since hardly anyone bought "Scream" anyways.

  • i own this album...at first in the music store i was looking for superunkown... and at first the only song i liked off here was outshined..but i decided to get it..boy was i wrong..this is 12 tracks of goodness. queit comparable to superunknown

  • Superunknown was too commercial for me, and down on the upside I hardly bothered with. Louder than Love is Soundgarden in pure form and their best, Badmotorfinger was not far behind LTL.

  • i like all of their albums..but to each their own opinion.. ltl was a great album

  • Capolavoro!

  • Love this album. could you post a studio version of slaves&bulldozers?

  • this is my favorite soundgarden album

  • This has convinced me I'm going to try to find this album. =)

  • Doesn't Room sound more like Alice in Chains t you?

  • why do they not have holy water on a youtube video, i like that one a lot... someone please post it

  • This album came out in October 1991. Nirvana's Nevermind topped the Billboard Charts in January 1992. If this was released a few months later, this would most probably be just as big as 'Nevermind'

  • Maybe Nevermind wouldn't be that big if BMF came later! SG forever!

  • i have this album i love soundgarden

  • FUCKING AMAZING ALBUM!!!!

  • Rusty Cage-great opening track Outshined-kicks smells like teen spirt bad Slaves & Bulldozers-heavy and slow Jesus Christ Pose-fast guitar solo Face Pollution-another great guitar solo Somewhere-creative Searching-great vocals Room-heavy and scary, cool! Mind Riot-o.k. Draw Flies-a third good guitar solo Holy Water-holirific! New Damage-good song to end it off!
  • Favorite from Badmotorfinger: Rusty Cage, Outshined, Slaves And Bulldozers, Jesus Christ Pose, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, Room A Thousand Years Wide, and Holy Water!

Favorites from Superunknown: My Wave, Fell On Black Days, Superunknown, Black Hole Sun, Spoonman, and The Day I Tried To Live!

  • Class album! Just a bit better and more mature than LTL.

I think 'Searching with...' is my very favourite track out of all Soundgarden's albums. What a tune!!!!!!!

    Thayil was a fucking genius.

  • favorite from this album: outshined, searching with my good eye closed, drawing flies, mind riot and holy water.

favorite from superunknown: fell on black days, spoonman, kickstand, mailman and the day i tried to live

  • Holy Water.. most badass song ever

  • Holy water, soundgarden's 2nd best song

  • I LOVE Holy Water XD But my absolute favorite is Black Hole Sun

  • one of the best albums ever

  • love it :)

  • excelente album

  • Best song = Mind Riot

  • dude, how can you decide? all of them are simply BEST!!!

  • my favorite album. chris cornell by far had the best voice out of anyone from that scene. you have to remember that all the big grunge bands from the 90's were all from different scenes around seattle. nirvana wasnt even from seattle. but anyways, soundgarden was the best band from seattle in the early 90's

  • alice in chains and soundgarden were the best bands in my opinion at that time. whilst i like nirvana it was not my favorite, the media telling me that kurt was the voice of my generation was a bit puzzling.

  • Alice, Soundgarden and Screaming Trees were the best...far below them are bands like Pearl Jam or Nirvana...but does it even matter anymore?

  • UGH. Nirvana shouldn't be put in the same category as even pearl jam.

  • you shouldnt talk bad about pearl jam

  • Ha, yeah right! Nirvana sucks, Pearl jam is awesome!!

  • Eh, Nirvana doesn't suck, they're just horribly, horribly overated.

  • soundgarden. most underrated band ever and certainly the best out of seattle. by a distance. this album does not have a bad track.

  • can't get enough of this album! it's unbelievable even 17 years after it's release...

  • best album by soundgarden

  • I have to agree. This was just as focused as Superunknown, in my opinion, and MUCH heavier.
