yes the album was called wicked in rock and the first two songs were from wicked "defying gravity" and "I'm not that girl", but kerry is also famous for originating the role of meat/meatloaf in we will rock you, she must have wanted to try a full orchestra version in her teaser CD, preferably I prefer the original cast recording version with the London orchestra but this one is still brilliant, especially the beginning, that is beautiful.

@182rooster182 It took me a while to realize the difference on this song too, but I finally get it! This is an orchestral arrangement of the song No One but You. They rocked out the two Wicked songs, but then made this rock song gentler and quieter.

It was recorded by the remaining 3 Queen members shortly after Princess Diana passed away and was largely associated with both her and May as eulogies. And, yes, it is also in a terrible musical called "We Will Rock You" that uses the Queen oeuvre as its musical inspiration.

yeah, wicked is set in oz not america, its preformed all around the world and only in america does it have an american accent. people pnly think that it should have an american accent because it first opened on broadway, but for saying that the land of oz isnt real, there is no specifif accent :)

And I still think that the Oz accent sounds like an American accent because of the film. Wicked is based mostly on the film and not the series of books.

You'll love it , my daughter has seen it twice , has more tickets to see it again in February ( with me , my second time ) & in May , on Kerry's last night , the date of which is uncertain so she has bought tickets for 2 dates so she doesnt miss it ! She gets the dearest tickets too , spending a fortune ! Glad we dont live very far from London ! Kerry is amazing so I hope you have a great night . It's not a huge theatre but the show is fantastic , you'll come out on a high I'm sure ! Enjoy !

I am well bad going to see her! Saw it in June - we got cheap tickets from a bucket shop, right at the back of the stalls. Then they were all, yeah the two leads aren't here so have some understudies. So I was sitting there, expecting an average performance at best. But...

THEY WERE AMAZING!
